Vision & Roadmap

I'm a leader who is frequently praised for her visionary approach while never sacrificing important detail. It's critical to to set tone for my team & products to get buy-in.

Requirements

I prioritize detailed requirements, so that my team can implement products efficiently, and I can keep launches on time and under budget with high quality product releases.

  • User stories laser-focused on user benefit, not desired output
  • Acceptance criteria with end-to-end gherkin language, so that I can partner with QA on test cases early -- as I'm building requirements
  • Expert facilitation in refinement sessions, so I can effectively collaborate and partner with my scrum team
  • Specs + annotations in logical detail, using my technical expertise to put myself in the shoes of the users of my documentation -- the designers and developers

Implementation & Launch

I grind all the way through launch before continuing iteration.

  • My typical day as a product manager starts with prioritizing questions & requests from the scrum team, so that we can ship without delays, and my team is never blocked by the business.
  • I talk to my stakeholders as I prototype in develop, so they can start formulating a strong go-to-market strategy.
  • As an expert in the customers "job to be done," I often help define the marketing messaging in partnership with product marketing. I'm hands on wherever I can strengthen conection to the customer.
  • Experience building training course, learning content so that my stakeholders can champion the product and empathize with their customers. I always represent voice of the customer.
  • Project management -- no task is too small when the goal is to launch the software customers need. I'm quick to turn around approvals, action items and anything our team needs to get to market.
